The Friends of Earle’s Chapel is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

A prime goal of the organization is to foster the preservation, maintenance, improvement and relevance of the Earle’s Chapel Designated Texas Historical Sites including the building, grounds and structures.

This goal also includes but is not limited to preserving a historical record of the history and heritage of the site, fostering education efforts to share this information and continuing in the spirit of the original charter for the Earle’s Chapel building and the community by sustaining a meeting place for the community, fostering other educational opportunities and identifying and fulfilling charitable needs of the surrounding community.
